Put an avocado in the coconut
...And 'in the back of dream car twenty foot long' I'm gonna shout out loud, 'well, this is life, baby, let's drive along this way', not knowing where we're heading, not knowing, where to stop... I couldn't stop thinking about this song today. David is an alien.

Shoop sHoop PhotoShoot
Finally! Next week I'm gonna have a photosession I'm dreaming about for a while now, preparing for the new season (new year maybe), new style and fresh ideas for some upcoming posts. I've spent this day googling some ideas for an ideal location and posing, as I'm not really a model-type-of-person, usually I don't feel too comfortable in front of the camera. So, besides the the blogs giving some interesting Xmas decoration hints that I just couldn't get away from, I've found this collection of fashion pictures. Although the photos taken for Marie Claire were not exactly what I was looking for, I've spent long, long minutes examining them for the beautiful, nude colors, natural hair and make-up and the overall ease these pictures express. Maybe the reason for choosing these pictures as an inspiration is that I feel this kind of calmness around myself these days...even though there's freezing cold out there right now. Here I have the ones I loved the most, but for the other pictures (and other collections as well) click here.
This last picture is from another blog called Our Style in Hungary, a blog of some very talented designers. I really love the hairdo of this girl... that's all :)

The Capital Way
Boohoo! I'm here, only that I was missing for a while from the blogging experience. It's so hard to keep up all with all the favorite blogs and stories and pictures. But as I was looking through the regular ones, I've found James D. Kelly's photographic diary of Annie Monroe. I could upload my favorite photos of this diary to make this entry more interesting, but I won't do that, instead I simply give you the link.

Just a hint of streetstyle again
Although (for a while now) Stockholmstreetstyle is rather doing streetstyle photos of the arrivals to fashion shows around the world, I can't get enough of the quality of the photos presented, focusing on little details, colours and textures and it's simplu so good to look at them. I feel I could post a little something every week. Here are my favourites from their latest posts...and for more pics check the site. (the flowertrousers are fabulous!!)

Wien für Dich, Interpol for your heart
I truly recommend you to see Interpol for yourselves, they sound so real, so professional. The highlight of the week we've spent in Wien was the concert of course (the only thing I missed from the event was a little 'All fired Up', but the 'Heinrich Maneuvre' has pleased me in the end). Unfortunately, we couldn't make any good photos of the band because of that silly thick smoke on the stage, but after me, here's the best songs of the night:
Anyway, we've made some epic photos during our stay, not particularly from a streetstyle-point-of-view, but something that would give back hmm....a certain relieved mood we were into all week long.

Counting down the Days (Tenderly, tastefully)
I just love that in almost every song from Interpol you could hear 'I love you'. It makes it all so painfully simple yet special...depressing in a way, but elevating at the same time. Tommorrow I'm heading to Wien to see them live. It's weird in a way, but I'm very curious about the way they sound live...seeing them face to face. But I think it'll be massive! :)
"Oh, how I love you
And in the evening, when we are sleeping
We are sleeping. Oh, we are sleeping"

Get your Dunakavics together
I've seen some interesting color combinations on stockholmstreetstyle again. Bleeeh, I'm just sitting here not knowing what else to write. Anyways, let's see the photos instead. Which one's the odd one out? :))

A little INSPIRATION for future brides
J. Crew is absolutely fabulous! As I was looking to the wedding gowns I was thinking: 'wow, if I ever happen to marry someone, I'd be most happy in such a beautiful dress. It's silk, it's ivory, graceful and simple at the same time. My first choice!
These models were the perfect choice. For more picture just click right here.

X says 'I love you' to Y in a brainstorm, or some crazy Hungarian music
Crazy rhythms and lyrics, it might not really make a sense, but still, it is very cleverly written and it's so elevating, like a new wave bombshell exploding and dissolving in my (and maybe others) microcosm. It reminds me feelings that were lost long time ago, relationships and old friends and frozen food and loneliness ('went down the subway to dream about friends') and suddennes and crazy, life-like moments at the same time. The band is called Kistehén (LittleCow) and the two songs are Vágjál hátba (Spank my Back)-the official video and the live version...I tend to like the live version more these days...and the other one is We want to do everything in the darkness. Enjoy :)))

MissKatjes entering a comptetition
Hokaaaay...looks like the gals on trendZone.ro liked the shoes I posted on the site, so I uploaded further products. I guess I have to gather loads of comments/likes to have a slight chance to win (?!?@:)_). All in all, if you liked the photos in the previous post, follow this link and do something, write something, shout or yawn or just click on the super button. It might help actually. Thank you.

Russian shoes and bodiless clothes on paper
Sorryz for abandoning you these days but have lots to do. Last Saturday I've been to a friend's studio to take some photos for a competition I decided to enter. Details will follow in a later post, until then here's a little teaser.

I'm taking salsa lessons for a while now so somehow these tunes are starting to make more sense.
...and don't feel bad about yourself because you have a certain thought or feeling, because that would only mean that you're denying your own personality. This might sound a bit boring, but there are certain things in my life that made me think about that. Just a thought. It might help. :)

Oh, dang!
Some photos I really like these days...like fall afternoons with yellow and red leaves and sunshine. Haha, I'm so cliche again :)

Felix and the funky green shoes
I'm still thrilled about that Lajko Felix concert last Thrusday. It was such an unbelievable experience that I couldn't sleep that night because the tunes just echoed in my head. I wish I could find a way to express, impress and inspire the universe with something that close to art, and that close to a primordial substance contaning the soul, the mind, hate, love and a little hortobágyi palacsinta :)

Colours of Fall
I accidentally came across upon Steven Alan's Fall 2010 lookbook. I love the plain colours and the little vintage-vibe of these outfits. This is what I love about autumn- you just have more and more ways to play with fabrics, colours and patterns. These photos really convinced me to purchase a few new items for the next season.
