This week's favourite album> Bonobo: Days to Come

Did you know that Bonobo is an endangered ape found only in the Democratic Republic of the Congo? Interesting choice of name for British musician Simon Green. The other day I came across (again) upon this album from 2006 and I just couldn't help myself but listening to it whenever I felt a bit gloomier than usual. And I must admit that my favourite songs from the album are those in which Bajka's beautiful voice appears (Days to Come, Nightlife, Walk in the Sky). Her voice is as soft and tender as a tasty as a bunch of purple grapes, you can even feel the warmth of sunshine in it. Well, I googled Bajka for some infos and I found out that she's a poet as well. She was born in India, grew up in Portugal and South Africa. I think her voice also stands for this mixture of cultural background. I'd really love to read her poems, too.

By the way, a new photosession begins next week, I'm looking forward to it, I hope I can share the most beautiful photos of late summer impressions with you.

I love your shoes, Felix!

Lajkó Félix (on the left) is a talented hungarian violinist and zither player from Serbia, playing some crazy, often improvised melodies, creating a unique musical experience by merging classical music with jazz, rock and folk rhythm. Not only Félix composed music for Mundruczó Kornél's movie- Delta (won a FIPRESCI prize in Cannes in 2008) but he played the role of Mihail in it. Great, great movie with beautiful images and the tragic presentation of ties between people and nature and people.
This is a picture taken at the 61. Annual Cannes Film Festival that I like so much for Félix's red shoes and Tóth Orsi's (on the right) black Balenciaga composition (not so much her shoes, though...).
I'm not sure yet who I'm supposed to add a video here, until I find out, I just copy-paste the link, some swell music: Félix accompanied by a zither and Rúzsa Magdi on the stage.

Still in Festival Mode/Mood

It's up to you

Finally I managed to do my Summer dresses and piece it together project along with the help of my photographer, Peti. Although we didn't have a professional equiment or a stylist, we did a pretty good job. In the meantime I provide only a collage with two of the pictures, but next week I'll write a post about it and attach more photos.

crazy times and lots of headaches

Sorry for leaving you alone my dear reader, but the actual time for writing a post these days is barely zero...Anyway, I managed to get my hands on a few items that I'm likely to wear this summer. I also have some brilliant ideas just popping out of my head these days, and yes, the only thing I need is a photographer. Right. Oh, yeah, the other day I got a closer view of Nicole Kidman's wedding dress and I absolutely fell in love with it. It's a Balenciaga dress and it fits her perfect. I googled Nicole's red carpet outfits and I just loved all her looks. I also found a wedding picture where she's wearing this beautiful blouse or dress, unfortunately I didn't find any other picture of that look, so I just can't imagine how that perfect litte piece of material would look like. Anyway, it was a perfect choice!
